Nigerian Army Hosts Ground Breaking Ceremony At Falgore Forest

The Ground Breaking Ceremony of the Nigerian Army Training Area at Falgore Forest was performed on Thursday, 27th February 2020.  According to a statement by the Army Spokesman, Col Sagir Musa the ceremony was conducted by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai, who was represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans (Army) Lt Gen Lamidi Adeosun.  Present during the ceremony were the Executive Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Honourable Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (Rtd) and the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Maj Gen Faruk Yahaiya. Others are the Commander 3 Brigade, Emir of Rano and other  top government functionaries, as well as heads of other security agencies in Kano State.

Nigerian Army Approves Promotion of Senior Officers

Nigerian Army Troops Continue To Excel As IED Kill Seven Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno

By Ajogwu Jerry * Arrest Chain of Criminal Elements As a result of continuous onslaught by troops of the Nigerian Army against criminal elements in the Northeast, more casualties has been recorded in the camp of Boko Haram terrorists. In what can be described as a case of tactical boomerang, on Friday, 18 October 2019, some marauding Boko Haram criminals elements who were escaping the unbearable counter by troops met their waterloo as one of their vehicles, a Toyota Sam Sahara Model, mistakenly stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) laid by them.
