Kogi Guber: Prof Seidu Canvasses Support For Bello, APC

The immediate past Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Prof Seidu Onalo Mohammed has enjoined his supporters to work for his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the November 16 Kogi gubernatorial election.

In a statement issued by the Director of Communications, PSO Project 2019, Comrade Moses Abdullahi, it said the resolve of Prof Seidu is line with the interest of the APC.

"P R E S S STATEMENT

1. I wish to categorically thank my teaming supporters for their unreserved support in our resolve to propel Kogi State to lofty heights.

2. The only fuel that never stopped burning before, during and after my campaign is the goodwill of my beloved people of Kogi State. I sincerely appreciate the role you all played and I must assure you it cannot be in vain.

3. Recall that immediately I was disqualified from the race due to obvious lapses, I reiterated my commitments to work in line with interest of our great party and my resolve remains intact.

4. After much consultations with the President and Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari and the party's leadership structure, I have resolved to work for the ascension of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 16 gubernatorial election.

5. I cannot do it alone. I therefore call on all my supporters to unite efforts as I collapse my structure for the triumph of the APC in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

6. My decision is in line with the interest of our great party and together we can make progress by trooping to cast our votes in favor of our great party.

7. Once again, I thank you all for your unalloyed support as we continue to join hands together for the growth and development of Kogi State.

Nigeria Civil Service Union Agitates Improved Workers Welfare

Nigerian Army Team Bags Gold, Bronze In Taekwando Competition

The 8th Edition of the Inspector General of Police (IGP's) Open Taekwondo Championship, has ended, with the Nigerian Army Taekwando team, winning 7 medals. The competition was held at the Civic Centre, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from 24 to 28 July, 2019. The championship featured participants from the 36 States of the Federation, as well as various Taekwondo Clubs across the country. Some international athletes from West African countries also participated in the event. About 250 competitors participated in the championship. Nigerian Army's Taekwondo team, made up of 12 athletes comprising 8 male and 4 female, featured in the exciting tourney.
