A fresh bid to tarnish the image of the Director General (DG), National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Professor Seidu Mohammed, has been uncovered.
Mischief makers reliably working for the Kogi State government mounted an online platform owned by the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, 'InsideStory' to cast lazy aspersions on the indefatigable trailblazer par excellence.
In the failed publication, dubious critics who are visibly scared of Prof Seidu Onailo Mohammed's recent political and humanitarian posture cum gesture, alleged that he supported an aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the just concluded State House of Assembly election (Omala Constituency).
Reacting to the failed propaganda, a close ally of the DG, Comrade Moses Abdullahi refuted the statement describing it as the "last kick of a dying horse".
According to Comrade Abdullahi, the good people of Kogi State are not gullible and cannot subscribe to the weakly orchestrated handiwork of the unscrupulous elements.
In his words "The recent attempt by mischief makers to tarnish the good image of Prof Seidu is dead on arrival because it is baseless. I strongly advice those behind the malicious publication to stop hiding behind the veil because no amount of propaganda can erase the positive antecedent of Prof Seidu.
"It baffles me to read such publication crafted from the pit of hell. No doubt they are scared of Prof Seidu's growing popularity but this is a fake allegation taken too far. We are not surprised because people will definitely stop to throw stones at a tree bearing ripe fruits but nothing shall discourage us," he maintained.
Recall that Prof Seidu Mohammed a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari who played active roles during the reelection campaigns recently hosted party faithfuls and stakeholders in his country home, Abejukolo-Ife, Omala local area of Kogi State to celebrate the victory of Mr President.
Prof Seidu Onailo Mohammed is also celebrated across and beyond Kogi state as a philanthropist with a heart of gold.
